The Eroica is a cycling competition created to rediscover the authentic roots of an extraordinary sport<\/strong>. Its origins lie in Gaiole in Chianti, Tuscany, but this event has now conquered several cities in Europe, South Africa, the USA and Japan. The Eroica, in its different declinations and formats, also goes beyond vintage to reaffirm the taste for healthy and fair competition even on modern bikes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year, We at Taurus also took part in this race <\/strong>in whose values we continue to recognise ourselves, year after year. Saturday 1 October<\/strong>in fact, our Edward<\/strong> witnessed an extraordinary performance in the course of Gaiole in Chianti<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Edward, riding a vintage Taurus,<\/strong> went through the most characteristic Tuscan landscapes<\/strong> passing from vineyards to white roads and from castles to medieval villages. During the kilometres travelled, there were over 800 metres of altitude difference<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As we expected, the event turned out to be a perfect experience to rediscover \"the beauty of toil and the taste of enterprise.\"<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We hope to participate again in 2023 in this authentic and exciting sporting competition, together with our team and our handmade bicycles.
